Kent State’s unique Sport Administration Semester in Florence is designed to broaden students’ academic experiences while ensuring that they continue to make progress toward earning their degree.

Program requirements and electives will be offered so that students can take advantage of this opportunity to study abroad. 

Cultural field experiences are integrated into the semester’s study.

Anticipated offerings are designed to fit into SPAD majors and minors.

Suggested courses include:

  • SPAD ST: Sport Management (program requirement)
  • PSYC 11762 (meets program requirement)
  • FIN 30195 (would transfer in)
  • ECON 42295 (could serve as an elective)
  • BUS 30195 (could serve as an elective)
  • COMM 45091 (could serve as an elective)
  • These options provide a Sport Administration student, 12-18 credits from which to choose toward major or minor and graduation.
